A historical lakefront resort and marina conveniently located on the south shore of Rice Lake in the Village of Gore’s Landing, just 90 minutes east of Toronto with many amenities nearby.

We offer an affordable destination for a family vacation, fisherman's getaway or to just enjoy the abundant wildlife. We have several cottages over the water and none more than 150 feet from the water.

Our marina is very well protected and offers seasonal and transient dockage and boat rentals, all supported by our many years of boating experience.

Nestled in a protected bay with safe swimming and a small sandy beach, we offer 1, 2, 3 & 5 bedroom self-catering cottages in an idyllic picturesque setting overlooking the islands.

Get the best of both sunrises and sunsets. Wake up early and watch the breathtaking sun rises right from your cottage; and walk to the public pier and catch the breathtaking sunsets! 

We offer fishing boat and pontoon boat rentals to both cottage guests and day visitors. Canoe and paddle boats are free to cottage renters on an as-available basis.

Plank Road Cottages & Marina is an ideal resort for both outdoor families and friends who prefer a vacation out by the water and for those who simply want to relax, fish, stroll through the village, visit the historical Towns of Cobourg and Port Hope, read a good book or just take things easy. Join us for an evening by the fire pit roasting marshmallows.
